The Battle Between the Jin Kingdoms
Mangunsuo, who had arrived at the Jin kingdom called Wayanika—where Tono and Nandi had been led astray—immediately attacked the soldiers guarding the city gate.
“Syaaatt!”
In an instant, five guards were burned to death.
“Hufthhh…”
From a distance, however, a jin witnessed Mangunsuo’s arrival along with his troops. The jin immediately ran to meet King Jayanida.
“We’re under attack!!!” he shouted to the two palace guards.
“WHAT?!!!”
The guards could not believe his words.
“DON’T LIE!!!” one of them yelled.
“I’m not lying!!! I saw it with my own eyes!!! All the city gate guards have been killed!!!” he insisted.
Finally, the palace guards believed him. One of them immediately reported the incident to His Majesty.
“What?!!! How dare they enter my kingdom without permission?!!!” said the ruler of Wayanika, his face filled with anger.
“General!!! Deploy the 10,000 best troops across the entire land of Wayanika!!!” the king ordered.
“Yes, Your Majesty!!!” the General replied.
10 Minutes Later
“Permission to report, Sir. The 10,000 elite troops you ordered are ready for battle!!!” said General Nimajaya.
“Good. Now we march to the City Gate!!” the king commanded.
5 Minutes Earlier – City Gate
“O uninvited king!!! Why have you come in such a disrespectful manner?!!!” shouted the King of Wayanika.
“Hmmm… allow me to introduce myself. I am King Mangunsuo of the Kingdom of Wiyakunato. This is Ki Agus Mideo and my troops,” said King Mangunsuo.
“Hah! I don’t know you!!! You have violated the etiquette of our kingdom!!! You must die!!!” he roared in fury.
“I am the one who will kill you—for leading the people here astray!!!” Mangunsuo replied.
“You bastard!!! How dare you challenge me?!!!”
The King of Wayanika challenged the ruler of Wiyakunato.
“So be it!!!” Mangunsuo responded.
“Attack!!!”
Without hesitation, the entire army of Wayanika charged at Mangunsuo’s forces.
“Fight!!!”
Mangunsuo gave the signal to battle.
It did not take long before the two kingdoms clashed.
Battle after battle erupted, and many from both sides fell.
The Duel Between the Jin Kings
“Hey, Mangunsuo!!!”
“Yes.”
“Where do you actually come from?!!!” asked King Jayanida.
“I’ve told you. I come from the Kingdom of Wiyakunato,” Mangunsuo answered.
“Hah… Wiyakunato? I’ve never heard of such a kingdom! Hahaha!” he laughed loudly.
“You truly don’t know… or perhaps you’re just outdated,” Mangunsuo said with a cynical smile.
“Insolent!!! I’ve never heard of such a kingdom!!! Perhaps some small kingdom founded just yesterday!!! Hahaha!”
Hearing that, King Mangunsuo gave a faint smile.
“Tring!”
In a flash, Mangunsuo attacked with his sword.
But King Jayanida’s reflexes were exceptional—he deflected the strike instantly.
“Hmmm… he’s incredibly fast. I can barely sense his presence. Fortunately, my reflexes are sharp… otherwise, I would have died foolishly,” Jayanida thought.
Suddenly, Mangunsuo vanished and reappeared behind him.
“Tring!”
He slashed toward Jayanida’s back—but once again, it was deflected.
Mangunsuo attacked from the left, the right, above, below, front, and back—yet all were parried.
“Hmmm… his reflexes are impressive,” Mangunsuo muttered with a sly grin.
Now it was Jayanida’s turn to attack.
He stretched his arm like rubber toward Mangunsuo.
“Take this!!!”
But Mangunsuo dodged the attack.
A fierce battle between the two kings became inevitable.
Each possessed extraordinary powers.
“Devil Fire… arise!!!” Mangunsuo shouted.
Instantly, flames shaped like a horned head emerged and attacked Jayanida. This time, the attack struck his chest, burning him.
“Arghhh… damn it!!! I’ve been hit!!!” Jayanida groaned.
“Siyat!!!”
He released a needle-like beam of light, striking Mangunsuo’s right arm.
“Arghhh… what was that? That attack was incredibly fast!!!” Mangunsuo exclaimed, glancing at his wounded arm.
“Bastard!!! I will destroy you!!!”
Enraged, Mangunsuo gathered his power and transformed into a half-human, half-tiger form.
“Sriiitt… sriiit…”
He attacked at a speed invisible to the naked eye.
“Syaaakk… syaakk…”
He slashed Jayanida’s face, leaving deep wounds and blood pouring out.
“Damn you!!! I will not lose to him!!!”
Jayanida then transformed into a winged wolf.
A clash of two immense supernatural forces erupted.
Both possessed powers far above the average jin.
“Hiyahhhh!!!”
They collided fists, creating a massive explosion that echoed even into the human world.
“What was that sound?!!!”
“Hey, what was that?!!!”
“Did you hear that?!!!”
“Was that a bomb?!!!”
the nearby human residents cried out in fear.
“Two Great Circular Lightnings!!!” Mangunsuo shouted, pointing one hand at Jayanida.
The power shot forth instantly.
“Tiger Serpent Flame!!!”
Jayanida unleashed his counterattack.
The two immense forces collided, causing another devastating explosion.
“Damn… he’s too strong!!!” Jayanida muttered.
“Damn it… he’s incredibly powerful!!! How many abilities does he even have?!!!” Mangunsuo growled.
Each king searched for an opening to defeat the other.
Through the Forest
Meanwhile, Tono and Nandi followed a narrow path that led into the forest.
“What’s going on, Ton? Why are we being led into the forest?!” Nandi asked anxiously.
“It’s okay, Nan. We’ll follow this path, just as Ki Agus Mideo instructed,” Tono replied.
“Hmmm… alright then. Let’s keep going,” Nandi said.
After talking for quite some time, they finally decided to continue deeper into the forest.
To be continued…
