Xing Hai Company
The Director’s Anger
“Braghhhhh….”
“You can’t even do your job properly!!!!!” shouted the Director.
“I’m sorry, sir. I will do better…” replied the employee nervously.
“Do better?!!! You can’t even handle something this simple!!!!!” the Director yelled again.
With his voice raised and his anger out of control, the Director grabbed a flower vase from his desk and smashed it onto the floor.
“Pyarrr…!”
The vase shattered into pieces.
“You’re useless!!!!! Get out of here!!!!!”
The subordinate left the room, holding back tears.
At the Digital Marketing Division Office
“So, you just got scolded by that annoying boss, huh?” some employees asked him.
“Yes… even though my work was correct,” he replied while trying not to cry.
“That’s really outrageous! The Director is arrogant! Greedy! He only cares about luxury and humiliating others!” said Adiyo, one of their coworkers at Xing Hai Company.
“That’s right. It’s not just the Director. Many elite officials here act the same way—arrogant, greedy, and abusive. And this isn’t even their company!” said Zhenzi, a graphic designer at Xing Hai Company.
“Hey… shhh… don’t talk like that! What if a bootlicker comes here and hears our conversation?” someone warned.
Two Days Later
Summoned by the Director
The three of them, along with the Digital Marketing Division Supervisor, were suddenly called by HR.
“Oh no… what’s going on?” Zhenzi said nervously.
“Yes… what happened? Why are we suddenly being called?” asked Lie Hai Zang, the supervisor.
“What if Mitzhu—the bootlicker—reported us?” said Li Ziao suspiciously.
“That makes sense… yesterday she was there when we were talking!” Zhenzi added.
“Yes! She was just silent and playing with her phone!” Lie Hai Zang said.
“That’s it! She must have recorded our conversation! What a shameless bootlicker!” Zhenzi said angrily.
Not long after, the Digital Marketing Manager arrived.
“Hey, you three! The Director and HR are waiting for you!” he said firmly.
Walking Toward the Director’s Office
Whether they liked it or not, the three of them headed to the Director’s office on the 7th floor.
They stepped into the elevator.
“Will we be okay?” Zhenzi asked softly.
“I don’t know,” Li Ziao replied.
“We’re definitely going to be scolded badly,” Lie Hai Zang muttered.
“Ting.”
The elevator door opened—they had arrived on the 7th floor.
With pounding hearts, they walked toward the Director’s office. In less than a minute, they stood in front of the door.
Li Ziao knocked.
“Tok… tok… tok…”
“Good morning, Sir. This is Li Ziao from the Digital Marketing Division.”
“Oh yes… please come in!” the Director replied.
“Thank you, Sir.”
They entered the office.
Their Suspicion Was Correct
As soon as they stepped inside, they were shocked. Many high-ranking executives were already seated in the room. And Mitzhu was there too.
“Damn…” Zhenzi cursed silently.
“So she really is the bootlicker…” Li Ziao thought.
“No wonder she joined our conversation…” Lie Hai Zang thought bitterly.
The Hearing Begins
“Sit down!” the Director ordered.
With trembling bodies, the three of them sat down.
They looked around. The executives of Xing Hai Company were staring at them coldly. None of them showed a friendly expression. Instead, they looked furious.
“Hey! A few days ago, I heard that you three were speaking badly about me, the executives, and the Director. Is that true?!” HR asked firmly.
Cold sweat ran down their backs.
“I’m sorry, Ma’am. We were just talking about food,” Zhenzi replied.
“Yes, Ma’am. We were discussing lunch menus,” Li Ziao added quickly.
Meanwhile, Lie Hai Zang kept his head down, unable to say a word.
“Hey, you! Answer my question!” HR demanded.
But he remained silent.
Presenting the Evidence
“Mitzhu!” the Director called.
“Yes, Sir.”
“Play the recording.”
“Yes, Sir.”
Mitzhu played the voice recording from her smartphone through the speaker so everyone in the room could hear it.
The recorded voices clearly revealed their previous conversation—insulting the Director and the executives.
The other executives, who had not known about the case, were shocked.
“You liars!!! You said you were talking about food?!!!” the Director exploded in rage, kicking the table in front of him.
“Braghhh… pyarrr…!”
The plates and food fell to the floor.
He stepped closer to them.
“Who do you think you are?! The boss?!!! How dare you insult my dignity?!”
“Answer me!!!”
He pointed his finger at their faces.
The three of them remained silent.
“Why are you quiet now?! You insulted me behind my back! Now answer me in front of me!!!” the Director shouted.
