Curious About the Abandoned Bridge
Friday Night Kliwon
“Hey, Ton… let’s go look for a sacred heirloom at that abandoned bridge…,” Nandi said while pointing at a structure that had been abandoned for more than 100 years.
“Ah… no… I don’t want to… that place is really creepy… there are so many ghosts…,” Tono replied.
“It’s not that haunted… we’re ghost hunters, right? Am I right, guys…?” Nandi said while holding his phone, which was currently live streaming.
“It’s creepy, bro… you know… the myth here is… inside that bridge, there’s a Devil’s Chair… and people often see the ghost of a couple whose faces were destroyed because they were tortured by Dutch soldiers…,” Tono explained to Nandi.
“No way… that can’t be true…”
Nandi did not believe what Tono said.
“I’m telling you, and you still don’t believe me… when you meet that Devil’s Chair… you will never come back from that bridge,” Tono continued.
“Ah… I don’t believe it… fine then, I’ll go there first…,” Nandi said as he stepped forward toward the longest haunted bridge in Sugiwo Village, Suros o Regency.
Heading Toward the Haunted Bridge
“Hi guys… I’m standing right in front of the most haunted bridge in this village… they say it’s a relic from the Dutch era from 100 years ago…,” Nandi said while speaking to his viewers.
“Hey… look… there’s something white passing by…,” one of the viewers commented during Nandi’s live stream.
“Where? Where? There’s nothing…,” Nandi replied.
Then Nandi continued walking forward.
Tono ran after him.
“Hey wait… wait… wait… don’t go there… it’s dangerous…,” Tono shouted.
“It’s fine… you don’t need to worry…,” Nandi said with a smile.
“Ugh… Nandi… Nandi… you never believe me when I warn you,” Tono said with an annoyed expression.
Nandi was indeed stubborn and reckless. He acted brave even though he was actually scared.
“Hmph…” Whether he liked it or not, Tono ended up following Nandi.
Arriving at the Haunted Bridge
“Wooow… this place is so scary…,” Nandi said while walking around the bridge and pointing his phone’s camera at the surroundings.
Tono, who had been standing silently on the road near the bridge for several meters, finally followed after him.
“Nandiiii… hey!!! Wait!!! Don’t go to the middle!!!” Tono shouted.
“Ah… you’re too scared… you coward, Tonoooo…,” Nandi said as he kept walking toward the middle of the haunted bridge.
The Devil’s Chair on the Sacred Bridge: Seeing a Ghost
“Nandi… there’s a white shadow near you…,” one of the viewers commented during the Yikyok live stream.
“Where? Where? There’s nothing…,” Nandi replied while looking left and right.
“It was there, but it already disappeared…,” another viewer said.
“Alright guys… I’m going to continue to the middle,” Nandi said.
Tono Tells Nandi to Go Home
Meanwhile, Tono, who already knew the information from the local villagers, was actually too scared to enter the bridge. But because his stubborn friend was already there, Tono forced himself to be brave.
“Nandiii… hey… let’s go back home…”
“Then you go home by yourself… coward!!” Nandi interrupted him.
“Fine. I’ll go home.”
Tono, who was already furious at Nandi’s words, turned his face away and walked in the opposite direction.
“You idiot,” Tono muttered, annoyed by his friend’s behavior.
